Vanessa moved from the Bay Area to the island of Kauai in the summer of 2005. The green lush mountains and scenic ocean coastlines of Kauai are some of the most breathtaking places on the planet and for Vanessa it was love at first sight.

Prior to her role as a real estate professional, Vanessa was one of the first female physical trainers in the Royal Navy; after nearly ten years this lead to a business career in human resource management where she worked on projects such as opening a waterfront hotel, spa and restaurant in San Francisco. From pre-construction on through to opening the doors to guests, this inspired Vanessa to develop her career in the real estate industry.
